About the team

We are currently looking for an experienced Head of CEO Office and Communications to join the CEO Office in a newly created role. This position would suit someone who enjoys working and interacting closely with key stakeholders, and who is able to provide support to the CEO by building and embedding an effective communications strategy helping to ensure that the wider business is aligned with the overall company strategy.

About the role

You will be playing an integral role within the business, representing the CEO in key meetings, and ultimately helping the business achieve cross-team collaboration and a more streamlined operation.

The key elements of your role will include:

• Working with the Executive and Senior Leadership to advise and support on relevant business communications strategy
• Play a lead role in all communication and employee engagement matters, developing internal comms. campaigns that drive engagement and business performance
• Work with Senior Leadership team to manage internal processes to help improve overall workings of the organisation
• Take ownership of the annual strategic planning process and any process improvements that can be made
• You will have responsibility for creating and embedding the internal communications and engagement strategy
• You will have responsibility for developing and implementing internal social media channels and tools
• Partnering with relevant departments to deliver employee engagement surveys and ensure that action plans are put in place and delivered against
• Ensure that a realistic budget is set in place to achieve Comms and Engagement strategy
• Act as the lead on creating and implementing employee recognition schemes
• Plan and organise regular events between the leadership team and employees to encourage two-way dialogue, as well as companywide social events

About you

You will also need to have:

• Experience in Digital communications, including social media platforms and strategies
• A strong communicator who has managed change and developed strategies
• Able to demonstrate a high level of business awareness and excellent at organising yourself and others
• Great planning and prioritising skills with the ability to manage complex communications
• It is essential that you have experience of creating excellent content for a variety of audiences across different channels
• Strong analysis skills and effective problem solving
• An appreciation of the key challenges that face the Insurance industry and its people
• You will need to be self-motivated and be able to work under your own initiative
• Degree qualified or equivalent with membership of relevant professional body desired
