You will be working in our ‘Commercial Vehicle Direct’ Business (or CVD for short). We pride ourselves in making sure our customers are at the heart of what we do - doing the right things and doing them well. Working with a panel of over 20 insurers Commercial Vehicle Direct are one of the UK’s largest specialist van insurance brokers.

About the role

• As a Senior Advisor you must have excellent technique and knowledge of sales and Insurance in order to work at a level above your agents.
• You must have good management skills in order to transfer your knowledge and techniques effectively.
• You must be strong at engaging and motivating others within your team and supporting your team leader with performance management across the department.
• You will be helping to coach and develop team members in line with the company expectations.
• You will be deputising for your team leader whilst on annual leave.
• You will need to gather accurate information from a client and store it correctly using CVD software, pitch our product and deliver prices in a positive way as well as close sales in order to obtain business.
• Be self-motivated with an ability to motivate others and maintain a positive working environment.
• The Senior Advisor will be working closely with the Team Manager, so you will need to maintain a good working relationship in order to pre-empt their needs.
• As a Senior you will be in a position of responsibility over others, thus you must be able to balance monitoring individuals’ performance whilst performing to an exceptional standard yourself.
• Ability to prioritise work load with and keep up to date with policy, company and insurer changes.

In addition to your base salary you will be eligible for sales related bonus in this role, with bonus you could take home up to circa £35,000.
